This blade is in my Classic petty profile, with a slightly raised tip. It has a full flat grind in 2.3mm 1095 steel with a frontal taper down the blade.
This results in an extremely light and agile blade, for great control on the chopping board and coming in at just 125g.
The handle is beautiful stabilised Leopardwood with forest Green G10 liners and polished Brass pins.
*Since the blade is made from carbon steel it is NOT stainless and will build up a beautiful and unique patina with use. This blue, grey and black colouring will protect the blade from rust as it builds and acts as a record of all the things it has been through (literally)!
